Aqua Cure Filter Recycling Scheme
The most exciting news this month is not in the form of a product but rather a new service: Aqua Cure have recently launched a filter recycling service for certain types of resin filter. Once the used filters are returned, all the useful components are recovered and the remaining plastic is turned into pellets ready to be reused for other plastic products. It’s a great way to protect the planet and boost your company’s environmental credentials. Bluetooth / Wifi Connected Digital Flow Meter
Aqua Cure have been having considerable success with trials of their new iMeter / iHub digital flow meters. The iMeter is a small, compact digital flow meter that relays filter capacity information to an app via Bluetooth while the optional iHub gives the user remote access to flow meter information online via the cloud. The iMeter and iHub can be retrofitted to existing filter installations and are perfect for monitoring your estate without ever having to visit site.
H-SCALE – Reusable Housing Reduces Plastic Waste
To supplement the environmentally friendly theme this year, Aqua Cure will also be exhibiting the H-SCALE filter system with its clever reusable housing. By retaining the plastic housing and only replacing the internal filter element, plastic waste is reduced meaning a lower carbon footprint and lower costs for replacement filters. Combining minimal plastic waste, recyclable inserts and increased boiler efficiency resulting from reduced scale means the H-SCALE range presents a genuinely environmentally alternative to other water filter systems.
